Jaka Lounge is supporting our client, Pollard Digital Solutions, in the search for a Senior Technical Delivery Manager to lead the successful execution of complex software development initiatives across multiple teams.
This role focuses on ensuring the successful delivery of complex software development initiatives across multiple teams. Working closely with Software Engineering teams, Engineering Managers, and Product Managers, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing technical projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Unlike client-facing project managers, this role is primarily team-facing, ensuring engineering execution aligns with business objectives.
This role reports directly to the Director, Digital Product Delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of technical projects, ensuring milestones, dependencies, and risks are effectively managed.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to define delivery strategies, scope, and timelines.
- Accountability for releases (track movement through the release pipeline and ensure everything is aligned – especially dependencies)
- Track progress, provide visibility to stakeholders, and proactively mitigate risks and issues.
- Optimize workflows and processes to improve software development lifecycle efficiency.
- Facilitate cross team agile ceremonies (e.g. scrum of scrums, release planning) to maintain alignment and remove blockers.
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies, ensuring smooth collaboration between different engineering groups.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success.
- Ensure compliance of the delivery with certifications such as ISO27001 & WLA-SCS.
- Ensure delivery processes align with DevSecOps principles, including automated testing, continuous integration, and security-by-design practices.
- Assist in resource planning and allocation to balance workload across teams.

What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in technical delivery management roles within software engineering environments
- Strong understanding of full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Familiarity with modern development practices, DevOps culture, and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, and project tracking dashboards
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
