For our client, a manufacturing company that is a market leader in the dairy industry, with a wide portfolio of cheeses and dairy products, we are seeking candidates for the position of Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring product quality and timely execution of production orders, monitoring supervisors’ work, employee performance, and maintaining necessary records in the production process.
  • Organizing production processes while ensuring work and technological discipline.
  • Coordinating the receipt of raw materials and supplies into production, as well as the handover of technological waste, rejects, and returnable packaging.
  • Monitoring technological waste, non-compliant products, material losses, and deviations from declared net product weight, with preparation of corresponding reports.
  • Analyzing the performance of production lines and employees, and preparing reports on achieved results.
  • Controlling the utilization of raw materials, packaging, and other supplies against defined standards.
  • Proposing improvements in work organization and employee standards.
  • Finalizing and validating work orders.
  • Participating in projects for the development of new products, improvement of existing products, and implementation of investment projects.
  • Preparing work plans and schedules, as well as plans for annual leave and other absences of production employees.
  • Collaborating with production, warehouse, and logistics departments to ensure continuity of production and prevent downtime due to shortages of raw materials, packaging, or semi-finished products.
  • Organizing continuous relocation of finished products and raw materials between warehouses in cooperation with logistics.
  • Coordinating activities with the maintenance and investment departments, including preparation of production lines and equipment for operation.
  • Organizing training and monitoring employee readiness to work in the technological process.
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene standards for facilities, equipment, and work tools.
  • Initiating and supporting activities aimed at continuous improvement, cost optimization, and more rational use of natural resources and energy.

Candidate Profile:

  • University degree (Level VII), preferably in food technology, food industry, or related technical disciplines
  • Several years of experience in the food industry, with a focus on managing production processes
  • More than 3 years of experience in managerial positions in production
  • Strong knowledge of production organization principles, process optimization, and team management
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with different company functions
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with a proactive approach to work and decision-making
  • High level of English language proficiency
