Job description

  • Manage all accounting/financial-related paperwork and ensure accuracy in financial documentation.
  • Analyze the company’s financial data, identify trends, and suggest improvements and optimizations.
  • Develop quarterly and annual budgets with breakdowns across various segments (e.g., payroll, marketing, hardware).
  • Oversee payroll in collaboration with the external accounting company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Generate financial forecasts based on historical data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to align tax and accounting practices with internal budgets.
  • Maintain and organize documentation for government incentives and ensure optimal use of applicable subventions.
  • Oversee financing activities, including monitoring sources of funds and exploring cost-effective growth funding options.
  • Identify capital and investment opportunities, manage company finances, and ensure liquidity.
  • Maintain financial scenario planning, including negative, baseline, and optimistic projections.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and accounting.
  • Previous experience as a financial specialist or as a financial analyst or in a relevant role.
  • Experience with tax compliance, payroll, and investment management.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Excel.
  • Knowledge of the local market specifics and current trends (SEF, IT startup subventions, etc.).
  • An ability to analyze market trends and provide data-based advice.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify financial trends and propose solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities.
